PayGuard — a bot that tracks payment deadlines and manages receivables follow-up
A bot for B2B finance and commercial teams: it reads open invoices from 1C, sends tactful reminders through the agreed channel, records the reply and escalates disputed cases to the account owner.
Challenge
Every day, finance checks the open list in 1C and records reminders in a separate spreadsheet. A promise to pay remains in a messenger thread, while the account manager may not know who contacted the customer or when.
Sending the same message to everyone damages relationships. One customer missed the invoice, another is waiting for an acceptance certificate and a third disputes the amount. Each reason needs a different next step, not another generic reminder.
Solution
PayGuard schedules actions according to the due date, customer segment and earlier replies. The first message reattaches the invoice and payment details; when the customer gives a date, the bot records the promise and stays quiet until then.
A reply such as “the amount is wrong” or “a document is missing” never triggers more automated pressure. The flow pauses and assigns the issue to the responsible employee. The full history is written back to 1C or the CRM so finance and sales share one context.

From the team
A payment reminder can easily turn into pressure. We designed PayGuard differently: respect prior agreements, stay quiet until the promised date and stop the flow when a dispute appears. Automation should bring order to receivables without damaging the customer relationship.
